The Album

A crown that turns out
to be weight.

The record opens on a man who got everything he asked for, and closes on him deciding what is worth handing down.

In between: a friendship that dissolves without a fight, a woman who stops asking, a rainy-night phone call that costs twenty minutes and two families, and a Sunday table where none of it counts.

Its central image is introduced in the first verse and finally set down in the last. Every motif planted across the first eleven tracks returns in the finale, re-read in a different light. The album is built to reward the second listen more than the first.

The Sound

Warm, hard-edged, and spacious enough to keep the writing central.
